George Boyd Helman

I am the youngest child of Kenneth Dewey Helman and Betty Jane Lightcap. I was born in Dayton, Ohio, home to most of the other Helman's that I am related. I am told that my My Grandfather, George Dewey Helman changed the spelling of our name from "Hellman" to the present "Helman". My Great Great Grandfather was George Jacob Hellman and that is as far back as I have been able to get. He came from Germany.
