I don't have all the information available at this moment, but I will fill in later as I have it.
My father, Harry F. Helmke, was born in Marion, Texas on January 18,1904. His brother, Alonzo William Helmke on December 1,1908 in Seguin or New Braunfields? My grandfather on my father's side was Fritz (Frederick?) Helmke, and my grandmother Ida Johanna Kircher. Her mother and father were Kathrine Knodel(born in Sweden), and Frederick Kircher(born in Germany).
Frederick Kircher came to America and sent for Kathrine and two children-Fritz and Hermina. The other eight children were born in Texas. They were Herman, Willie, Albert, Otto, Emalia(Molly), Anna, Gus(who did not marry) and Ida Johana(my father's mother).
My father married Florence (Jane) Elna Fuller in 1944. Alonzo married Olga Vollmering(deceased in early 1950s), then Dorothea Kubecka. He had no children.
Possible brother of Fritz Helmke is Henry Helmke. Possible sister is Richeon who married Hermon Decker or Uecker.
