I was born and raised in Seattle,Wa. DOB 17th August 1949. Madison Street Hospital. Son of Gerald and Birtie Helms. My family is large, I have 6 siblings; Margot,Thomas,Sandra,Mark,Kathaleen and Gayle. My father Gerald, was from Wilke,Iowa. DOB 16th August 1924, DOD 4th June 1996. 2nd child of Charles Wayne and Avis Jennings(nee COLE). Seattle,Wa. Mother is Birtie Helms DOB 24 April 1927. Living. She was born near Little Rock,AR. Raised in Jonesboro,AR. Our family moved around a lot in greater Seattle area. I attended different schools. Graduated Chief Sealth High in June 1967. Two years of college.Attended South Seattle Community College. I have spent over 20 years researching family-tree. I have found out quite a bit during this time. The bulk of the research has been successful for the HELMS side of the family. On my mother's side, a few things have been compiled.
