My name is Warren Edward HELLWIG. I am the oldest surviving son of Walter Edward HELLWIG, whose Father was Theodore Edward HELLWIG. Theodore's history ( previous to his marriage to Clara Ann HOFFMAN in1904) is unknown with the exception of a birth date of 24th March 1871 to Edward & Julia ((nee Saunders)) HELLWIG). His place of Birth was either in Prussia or Germany. He either had a brother / or was known as Charles Theodor HELLWIG. The only information I have on Charles is that he was indentured to W.H. Potter & Son in Liverpool UK as a shipwright between 1887 and 1894. He had posted postcards to Clara Ann from various places in the world and was naturalized in Australia in 1898. No trace of him since 1903( Just before Theodore Married Clara). I am interested to trace my family history with particular interest in Julia and Edward HELLWIG, as They seem to be the only link mentioned by Charles and Theodore. Any Assistance will be very appreciated
