About Our Family Research


My Family in Love county, Oklahoma can be traced back over a hundred years and Im still looking for my cousins.I have had alot of help on my Hembree, Cavins, Whisenhunt, Farmer,Grisham, family and hoping to find help with my White Family. If you can help me please do or corrected me if I am wrong on anything.

    Left to right front row girls are, Rilla, Pearl, and Sallie Hembree, Man to the left sitting is Doc Hembree and his wife standing behind him, the Hembree boy in the middle left unkown Hembree and the boys to the Two Boysto back left Hembree Unknown first name, Older women in the middle is my great great grand mother, I think Mary Emilime Clardy Hembree, the man to the boy sitting to the right of her is Wright Walker Hembree, and the Man sitting to the right is my great grand father Terell Anderson Walker Hembree with wife, Loduska "Dicey" Hare, The boy in the middle right is Johnny Hembree, the two boy to the right back standing is Arthur Hembree and the boy to the far back right is my grand father James Edward Hembree, this is the only picture I have of him but that enough to know Im for me to know Im for sure on My Hembree line, Oh Doc Hembree and Walker Hembree are brothers.So that why the picture of the Mother is in the middle I suppose, I also have my grandfather Obits that only mentions Wright Hembree as a brother, dont know if the other was dead in 1955, or information not yet found to solve the totally store of my line of Hembree but know I come from here.... any help with the names to the right would be greatful...

Hembree Wife standing behind him, Dorothy "Dollie" Hembree, The three girls in front left to right are,Rilla Hembree, Pearl Hembree and Sallie Hembree... I want to thank Larry and Jane "Hembree researcher for their help and helping now to find all the Hembree names and who the belong to in my family tree....

    That all that on the back of this picture and suppose to be my grandfather's brothers, but my cousins and myself havent any knowledge of them, but I without a doubt in mind know that they are in my Hembree line from who sent them to me, Wright daughter, and I can see my Uncle George "Mutt" and Uncle James "Jim" in them, and the body frames meet alot of my uncles, even though some of my Hembree was average height, some was like me and my brother and sisters, are short and tiny bone's my father as a man foot size was 5, My brothers are 5 1/2 and us girls my sisters and myself range from 3 1/2(kids) one a size 4 and one is a 5 only because she got a fat foot that want fit in a 4 lol, just a little Knowledge lol to share

    This is the youngest picture at the moment I have of my Father and Cousin, hoping for more, but the boy to the far right, J.W. Hembree when ssn came out he had to have a real name they told him and middle name, so that where Jack Wallace Hembree came in, and the taller boy next to him is my aunt son, Bill Jackson. Both deceased and resting at Simon Cemetery, in Love County, Ok.

    My Mother was born June of 1933 in Love County, Oklahoma and in 1949 Married my Father J.W. Hembree and together they had 5 children, me being the youngist
