I am new to starting my family tree and have not got very much information. I have gotten as far as my 4th great grandfather John Law. I have yet to find out his parents name, although I found out he has 3 brothers named Hugh, Warner, and William. My Grandfather Elliott Everett Law says he believes the Law clan belonged to the Stewart clan. There was many of the Laws in the church as pastors and priests in Scottland, England, and France. I was also told that their was Law family that was in the banking business in France and early California. He says the actor John Phillip is a cousin. Richard, Dennis, George and Warner were all men in Politics and religion and banking. Also the magistrate of the early New England Delaware area was an ancestor. Thats about all I have for now.
