Hezekiah Jackson Herring was born 3 Jun 1834 to 1836 in Venango
County, PA. He died 25 Feb 1899. In 1858 he married Martha Ellen Sweeten who was born in 1824 in Indiana. She died 30 Jul 1900.
This union produced one known son, William Henry Herring, born
18 Jan 1854 near Eagleville or Ridgeway, Harrison County, MO. He died in 1944 near Parkland, Lincoln County, OK. On 22 Feb 1898 he married Amanda Jane Hale who was born 11 Feb 1861 in Terra Haute, Vigo County, Indiana. She died in 1947 near Parkland, Lincoln County, OK.
This union produced ten (10) sons and one daughter all of
whom were born near Eagleville or Ridgeway, MO, except the youngest who was born in Indian Territory (OK). Their names, in order of birth:
Willard Francis, Bertie Lee, Irvin (died in infancy), Fred Gilson, Hattie Pearl, Clarence Leslie, Leonard Elsworth, Asa D.,
Earl Andrew, Claude B. and Everett Leroy.
The parents of Martha Ellen Sweeten were Robert and Sarah.
The parents of Amanda Jane Hale were William Augustus Hale and
Elisabeth Ann Hopkins.
The parents of William Augustus Hale were William H. Hale and
Annie Norman.
The parents of Elisabeth Ann Hopkins were Mordecai and Margaret Hopkins.
If anyone has any genealogy information they could share
with me, it would be much appreciated. And I will be most
