My father was Warren Eyers Tennant. His brother, Robert Eli Tennant, was killed in WWII leaving no children, and so my two brothers and I are the last of this branch of the Tennants.

Dad's father was Joseph Arthur Tennant. There was an older sister, Alice, who died when Grandfather was an infant; there were no other siblings.

Grandfather's father was another Joseph Tennant. He was born in Baildon, Yorkshire England. His mother was a Nancy Robertshaw. That's as far back as I have been able to trace.

Grandfather's mother was Elizabeth Ellen Leach from Rochdale, Lancashire, England, who sometimes went by the name of Lizze Leach. I understand that she came to the US alone when she was 17.

I have pretty extensive information on my Dad's mother's family, and also on both of my Mom's lines.

I'm not terribly knowledgeable about genealogical research but have found the various web resources to be very helpful.
