THE FOLLOWING MEN HAVE DESERTED FROM MY COMPANY NAMELY:
Lucian Brown, Duncan Campbell, R. A.Jones, John Phillips, Noah Phillips and J. R. Pool, from Chatham County.
Calvin Billings, A. J. Blackburn, A. W. Cheeks, Isaac Hoots, L. M. Hoots, Stephen Hoots, W. A. Mahaffy, Felix Porter, James M. Porter, Harrison Soots, Joseph Hoots and W. F. Soots, from Wilkes County.
James Fann, from Raleigh, N. C.
I will pay thirty ($30) dollars reward cash for each of the above deserters delivered in camp.

(1838) Wilkes Co., NC; Jane b. (1845) Neal b. (1848) Daniel b. (1852) Alexander b. (1854) & Laura b. (1858) Would appreciate any data on this family, especially Re: (Mary J. Campbell) m. 2 Apr. 1866 Knox Co., Tn. L.W./Leonidas Watkins Davidson b. 8 Jul. (1821) Va., a tailor by trade.
