Andrew Sheets (son of Martin Sheets and Mary Magdalene Gaby)¹⁰²⁴ was born Abt. 1774 in Rowan County, North Carolina, and died Abt. 1855 in Ashe County, North Carolina. He married Molly Shearer on Abt. 1794, daughter of Christian Andrew Shearer and Sarah Bargett.

Andrew Sheets & Catherine Bare were found on Family Tree Maker; World Family Tree; Vol. 4, pre-1600-present, v704-01, pedigree 0876; but there were several mistakes in that pedigree.

Information only: There is a 2 page document written on Andrew Sr. and his son Jesse that describes siblings. It cites a paper written on the Sheets family by Greer Sheet of Laurel Spring and Mrs. Fred Cancy of Sparta NC and Debbie L Hurt's Geneology of the Sheets Family. Mary "Mollie" Shearer was referred to as Mollie Shearer on Eller-Wade Collection, Ashe County North Carolina; and has been referred to as Mary Shearer in other sources; also referred to as Mary Sherrier from other sources. Letter written by John Harvey Sheets dated May 29, 1933 spells Mary Mollie's last name as Sherrier.
