Notes for Jacob Furr: Was only 6 years old when his father died. He grew up on the family pl antation, married, and had four children: Mary, Elizabeth, Rosina, and H enry. However, he did not enjoy the longevity that some of his brother s did. He died at the age of 31. The court ordered that his orphan, H enry, be hired to his uncle, Henry I, until reaching the age of 21.
