The funeral will be Saturday for Marie Tevepaugh Bunton, 91, 1075 Deal Road, Mooresville, formerly of Kannapolis, who died Thursday (Aug. 10, 2000) at Care Inn Rest Home. Born Aug. 2, 1909, in Wilkes County, Mrs. Bunton was a daughter of the late David and Sarah Johnson Tevepaugh. She was a homemaker. Her husband, John Philmore Bunton, preceded her in death. Survivors include daughter Phyllis M. Haynes, China Grove; sons John Bunton, Burlison, Tenn., and Frank Bunton, Mooresville; sister Zula Swanson, Reids; 11 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Services: 2 p.m. Saturday, Lady?s Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Terry Brown. Burial, West Lawn Memorial Park.
