CHINA GROVE ? The funeral will be Sunday for Eric Christopher Bowlin, 26, 2510 Hwy. 152 W., who died Thursday (Sept. 6, 2001) at NorthEast Medical Center, Concord.
Born July 23, 1975, in Cabarrus County, Mr. Bowlin was a son of Dewey Micheal and Marcia Dunlap Bowlin of Kannapolis. A 1993 graduate of South Rowan High School, he was a driver in the Nascar mini stock series at Caraway Speedway in Asheboro.
He was employed with Cloninger Ford and Toyota, Salisbury.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, include brother Micheal Brian Bowlin, Kannapolis; and grandparents Don and Lelia Bowlin of China Grove.
Services: 3 p.m. Sunday, Whitley?s Funeral Home chapel, Kannapolis, conducted by the Rev. Richard Pethel. Burial,Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis.
Visitation: 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. At other times the family will be at the home of his parents, Dewey Micheal and Marcia Dunlap Bowlin, 510 Dunlap St., Kannapolis.
