The Long Labor of Love of the Psalmons, Salmons, Simons

Updated November 2, 2006

About Our Family Research

I am in the middle of creating a book related to my family and I have copies of marriage records, newspaper articles and a few death certificates. I also have copies of pictures if you would send any copies I would either scan them and send them back. I suggest that you e-mail me before and then I love this and thanks to my spouse I am so thankful I took a wrong turn and that's how I earned the trust of a dear relative in Sugar Grove, VA in Smyth Co., VA and went to the Marion Court House and in the Wills a kind Lady she asked my if I checked the wills and deed book ?! I replied with a tear in my eye no all my family had to will would have been have been "Bills". There was my family but with the spelling Psalmons", Salmons, and Simons. When I find the wills there was my Grandfather listed so I kindly asked concerning the spelling and she she asked if I was wanting Proof?! I responded Of course so she found a copy of Leda Wade Moser and Groover Columbus Salmons that's my unsolved mystery. I keep a journal almost everyday so as I was driving home I wrote a silly saying that "GRANN" that I would always made me giggle and smile this is that saying "tickled as a sour pickle" ! If our ancestor could see us today, would they be proud or ashamed. "EVERYONE HAS SOMETHING IN THE FAMILY THAT THEY ARE NOT PROUD BUT LOVE IS UNCONDITIONAL? This is what my Gramdmothers taught me. When I was young in my tweens "when you fall off that high horse into the pile of "poop" (censored wording). Go clean yourself up and look to see who that your family is there to pick you up.
THANKS FOR MY HUSBAND TAKING A WRONG TURN OVER AND OVER AND TO SUCH GREAT STRONG GRANDMOTHERS, AND MY FAMILY I DEARLY LOVE . WANDA S. HESS
