Vaughn has been found 1843 Coffee Co.Ala to Pike Co.,Ala,where he married Malinda A.Smart @1862,Troy..He joined the Conf Army in Bullock Ala.and was a prisioner of war before returning home.He was eager to see his 1st child (Mollie)Mary E 1863-Sarah Jane(Salley)1866-William E.(Bill) 1868-Arcelia Almer 1869-Oscar Monroe 1870-Henry Malleycy 1873-Allan Von 1876-Margaret Mae (Maggie)-1878-Aughty 1879-James Lockard (Locke)9 Oct.1881-18 Feb 1942 ,lived Darby ,Pike Co.,to Covington Co.Ala.m.1903 ,(Jennie) Virginia Lee Edmondson-Johnson--ch Owen Vaughn 1904-Euna Irene 1908-Duward (Dee)1914--William Cleston(Big boy)1916----and last John D.1883-------Hardy d.1872-----Was told his Mother was Dama Adams Hilburn Wicker--Coffee Co.Ala.???????Father??????-----that he also had rem Elizabeth Sexton Bowden--after Malinda died 11 Mar 1910?????Vaughn and grandson of Henry of Brunswick Co.,NC and Nancy Sykes,was evidently family because Henry Francis Jefferson Mills signed for him to get his military pension--s/o Rebecca-d/oHenry & Nancy-----living close to Gaines -Preacher's-and Adams---on 1850 census Coffee Co.-Vaughn is with the Wicker family as 9 yrs old????Can anyone add to this?????
