The decendants of Jasper Hill that I have info on are mostly located in Texas and New Mexico. They originated in Mississippi. I am currently searching for more decendants as well as going back beyond Benjamin, Re: his parents, siblings, date and place of birth. Benjamin's wife is said to be Cherokee/Choctaw. Don't know her Indian name. She went by Elizabeth Conley. We have a Hill reunion every other year. The last one was July 14, 2001. It was held in Portales, New Mexico at the Memorial Building. We had a great turnout. The next one is 2003. |
