Notes for John Munro: John Munro younger of Pittonachly acquired the lands of Contulich.
He entered the Church and in 1585 King James VI presented him to the vicarage of Kilmuir Easter to succeed Neil Munro, who was deposed "for non-residence and not serving his cure."
