"The Munro Tree (1734)" says Donald Munro of Foulis had a sister Anna who married Angus McDonald of Yla. This could not be the same Angus MacDonald of Ylla, Lord of the Isles who fought at Bannockburn in 1314, so this fact is questionable.

A similar story appears in conjunction with Donald Munro, the founder of the the House of Foulis.
