Anna Munro (daughter of Occaan)was born in Of, Ireland, died in . She married Angus MacDonald.
Notes for Anna Munro: There is a MacDonald tradition that Angus og of Islay (father of John Lord of the Isles) married a daughter of an Irish chieftain named O'Kaine or O'Cathan, who brought with her as dowry a retinue of followers from whom sprang several families in Scotland including the Munros. Martine inserts in his account of the Munros' supposed Irish origin a statement that their ancestor Donald 'came to Scotland with his sister Aine (or Ann) married to Angus MacDonald of Ylla Lord of the Isles'. This could not be possible because Angus MacDonald of Ylla fought at Bannockburn three centuries later.
It is not known which part of the tradition, if any, is correct and which is incorrect. A similar story appears in conjunction with Donald 3rd Baron of Foulis.
