He married Frances Lucretia Grayson on 21 Dec 1836 in Savannah, Chatham Co., Georgia, USA^{356, 357}, daughter of John Robinson Wagoner Grayson and Frances Ann Harvey.

Notes for Emanuel Heidt:
Emanuel was the son of John George and Salome (Remshardt) Heidt. He also married (2) Rebecca Mulden Morehouse between 1870-1879.
