Notes for George Monroe: Some references say that George was not married. It is not certain that this is the George who was married to Dorothy Cager and lived in St. Mary's County, Maryland. The Charles C. Munroe, III reference says George was the "ancestor of Thomas Monroe who married Jane Watson".
Ref 1 says he died young. Ref 2 says he was born about 1654 probably in Westmoreland County, Virginia, that he died young and questions his marriage to Dorothy Cager. There is obviously some confusion here.
