William Linton (b. Abt. 1674, d. 1732)

William Linton^{374, 375, 376} was born Abt. 1674 in , Prince William Co., Virginia, USA³⁷⁷, and died 1732 in , , Virginia, USA³⁷⁷. He married Susannah Monroe on Abt. 1726 in , , Virginia, USA^{377, 378}, daughter of Andrew Monroe and Eleanor Spence.

Notes for William Linton:
William was the son of John and Anne (or Ann) (Barton) Linton (or Lyntone).

He took out a grant of land in Prince William County, Virginia in the 18th century.

Ref 1 says that the children of William and Susannah may have been named Anne and John, but ref 3 gives evidence that their son was named Edmund and their daughter was Anne or Susanna who married (2) Nathaniel Grigsby.

Ref 2 says William was born in 1705 and died in 1742.
