I have recently started my family research but so far I have not come up with much and could use all the help and resourses I can get. I do not have much family back ground to go on as I do not have many family members that I know of to ask for information and very little resources, which in truth is making family research for me diffecult at the moment. I am currently looking for any information on Osmonds that came from Ireland (George and Louisa Osmond) to St. John's Newfoundland where my Grandfather William John Osmond (the youngest of about 8 children) was born around July 9 1909 and later married Mary Muriel Ivy) and had my mother Lorriane Louise Osmond also born in St. John's Newfoundland December 27 1934. She was the oldest of 9 children. All the children in my mothers family all moved to differnt places mostly to the United States where most of them now live but who I have no contact with except my mother who past away when I was twelve. I am also looking for any Hippern's who from my father, came from the Halifax area where my grandfather was born, I am asuming around 1909. He married a Helen Night after moving to Bellville Ontario where my father Fredrick Hippern was born August 29 1935 and his youger brother by 2 years John Hippern. More information about my family history (what I have) can be found on my family tree. To sum it up I am looking for any osmonds from Ireland and St. John's Newfoundland and any Hippern's from Halifax around 1909 or anywhere else before that. Any help or information no matter how small at this point would be greadly apprecated.
