My Father was Harry E. Hipsher b--8-20-1907 d--9-18-1972
Mother was Mona M. Courter b--6-4-1916 d--2-1-1965
He was from Lawrenceville, Il She was from Allendale,Il.
His Father was John R. Hipsher born 1875 died 1952 His Mother was Martha Noe born 1878--died 1923,They were from Lawrenceville also.
Mona's parents were Lester Courter b-3-22-1894 d-4-22-1968
Marie Keeling b-10-21-1894 d-11-23-1959. Lester's father was Asberry Courter and Mother was Lillie Dimmitt. The Courters go back to William Elder Courter, a preacher from Edwards county listed in the history of Edwards, Wabash and Lawrence County History.
Harry's Grandfather was David Hipsher born in Grainger Co, Tenn. He is in the 1910 Lawrence County Biographical Illustrated ( Editor John William McCleave) Munsell Publis. Co, of Chicago. This is in the Lawrenceville Library.
