My Grandfather and his family came to Canada in 1926. His name was John. He came with his two brothers Andrew Henry, and Michael and his mom Anna and Dad Jacob. They were originally from Poland. The last family reunion was in 1980. Earlier this week my grandfather (Gigi) passed away and now I am trying to find out if we have any extended family anywhere. The family name was originally spelled Hnatyzhyn, then it was changed to Hnatyshyn and now it is Hnatishin. John my grandfather married Martha Kernicki and together they had seven children. We are still in contact with his brothers but are looking for anymore relatives that we may have out there.
