Rodtelde came into possession of the Hofstad family in 1810. The farm is located on the south side of "Leksdalsvatnet". The "gaard" or farm is near the HODALEN and NESSET farms. It was a small farm, but in earlier days it had also containde a large portion of forest land. This likely was sold off as needed in later times.
