My name is Andrew Paul Hogben and I am new to all this family research stuff so the site will start to look fairly bear to begin with.

I was brought up in Goodnestone near Canterbury, Kent with my brother James Edward Hogben and sister Kathryn Hogben. My father Raymond Reginald Hogben was a farm worker for twenty years on the estate of Lord Fitzwalter. My mum (Patricia)and Dad were married for thirty years when after a very short illness he died in June 1997 aged 48.

My grandfather Reginald Victor Hogben was born in Dover on the 16th May 1903. He had at least two brothers Frank and Jack.

Reginald's parents were William John Hogben (aged 27) and Ellen Ann Hole (aged 21), who married on 14th October 1891 at Blean Church.

The father of William was named Moses and his mother Caroline (possibly Coppins)
