i'm a adoptee who is in search for my family history. i have not seen my mother for 36 years. my adopted father told me that my birthfather was a famous musician before he passed on may 24,1996 at age 78. my adopted mother is still living at age 87. i remember traveling with band members. i was brought through montreal, canada in 1967 (world fair expo 67) with the sisters of charity, into niagra falls, michigan (the sisters of charity changed my name to charlie weaver, then into ohio and the chatholic charities got custody of me, several foster homes and adopted out 1971. the last foster home i remembered was staying with ruth and ralph hoyng in moraine city, dayton, oh. ralph worked at ncr and ruth was a housewife, and bad abusive to me i still carry the scars today. the hoyng had taken care of other children, john, becky, pam, debbie and larry who was handicapped. the catholic charities non-identifying information revealed i have a half sister 5 years older. the courts destroyed my case file and there was one document that revealed a last known address 878 14th street in san francisco, ca, may 1966.
