My understanding is... My Great,Great,Great Grandfather's name was David Hileman (Hoilman) born abt.1827/Wife(1)Nancy Ledford/and after her death Wife(2)was Betty Ann Hopson. His son was Jacob Hoilman b.May 1842. Yancy Co.N.C;d.Feb.21,1927.He married Martha A. Jane Briggs. His son was Sherman Hoilman b.1867;d.1940 last name listed as (Hileman) in 1900 census.His wife was Hester Canipe. My Grandfather was Ambrose Hoilman born April 1 1891. d.10-09-1963.His wife was Addie Hughes. My father Howard Bradley Hoilman was born 11-30-1927 the youngest of 6 sons. MY Father and my Uncle Paul Hoilman are still living. My name is Gregory Dean Hoilman, born 03-26-1957 oldest of 3 boys born to Howard B. Hoilman and Gladys Marie Mckinney. I would like to obtain more info, and possibly pictures/cemetary/and maybe info on my Hoilman lineage,1st to enter the U.S. . I would also like to hear from other Hoilman,s, not just in N.C.
