Stevan is the son of Bryant and Alberta Ross Hook of Stockport, Ohio. He was born March 1, 1949 in Marietta, Ohio. Carol is the daughter of William D. and Margaret Graham Valentine of McConnelsville, Ohio. They were married in Trinity U.M. Church in McConnelsville, Ohio on March 25, 1972. Hayley Kathryn Hook was born January 4, 1974 in Marietta. Kate Danielle Hook was born June 8, 1978 at Good Samaritin in Zanesville, Ohio. Isaac Nathaniel was born July 11, 1982 at Bethesda in Zanesville. Andrew Stevan Hook was born July 24, 1984 at Bethesda in Zanesville.
Stevan is a civil engineer and surveyor who graduated from Ohio University. Carol is a registered nurse who graduated from Ohio University-Zanesville and is attending Ohio University. Hayley graduated from Muskingum College. Kate is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University and received her masters degree from Ohio University.
