I am in the search for some important information about the history of my mother's family. My mother is Jolita Lamae Cikel, born on Noveber 21, 1947, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her parents were Oleta Ora Lamae Bond of Drumright, OK, and Joseph Cikel of Racine, WI.. My mother passed away on January 11, 1998, from complications due to Diabetes. Last December my grandfather passed away, her father. During the discovery of his passing away, I had learned that my mother had been adopted by Oleta and Joseph Cikel. My uncle, Joe's brother, confessed to giving him money to buy my mother. It is possible that my mother was stolen? I am looking for anyone who may know information about where my mother, myself, may have come from? According to the Birth Certificate she was born at The Flowers Hospital Inc.? I have done some research, my guess is she is Native American Indian decent, possibly taken from a home and placed in a wealth home during the time when the U.S. Government was relocating Native American Children from their natural homes and placing them into wealthy families, I have proof of this information, but not sure if my mother was a part of this scandle. Help? Anyone with information? Please?
