Theresa Marie Todtenbier (daughter of George Todtenbier and Maria Becker)3509, 3509, 3510, 3511 was born 15 Oct 1861 in Kenton Co., Covington, Kentucky3512, 3512, 3513, 3514, and died 06 Oct 1909 in Grant County, Marion, Indiana3515. She married (1) Edward Dunn on 22 May 1882 in St Aloysius Church in Covington. She married (2) James Oheron on 1891 in date unknown.
Notes for Theresa Marie Todtenbier: Theressa / Teressa is a mystery to me. Looking in the 1900 census of Indiana, it is apparent that her eldest 3 children are from a previous marriage to Edward Dunn. The 2 boys were born in Kentucky, the daughter Celia was born in Pa. By Celia's age, Theressa met my great grandfather, James, and married him when Celia was about 2 years old. I do not know where she met James or what happened to Edward Dunn. I assume she met him in PA, as he worked at Macbeth Evans Glass Works. Theresa is buried in the same cemetery as her husband James, but not in any near proximity. She is buried east of the Pauper graves, although she does have a headstone. The 3 babies that she and James had that did not thrive, are buried on a grassy knoll in unmarked graves. These children died of cholera. A picture of the area they are buried is in their file. The picture in Teressa's file is of the Totdenbiers. It was a postcard sent to Celia Dunn from Laura Todtenbeir. The caption under the photo says "At Camp Arthur Cedar Grove, Ind 8/6/08. Unfortunately I do not know who is who, although from various census's I have somewhat figured it out,, or who each could I.. It is so sad that most all old photos have no information on them.

Marriage Notes for Theresa Marie Todtenbier and Edward Dunn: I cannot find any information on why this marriage was terminated, be it death or divorce. In the 1900 Census, she is married to James Oheron for 9 years,, her 3 children are still in the home and she and James have thier own son William. Her youngest child Celia, is 10 years old, with a birthdate of December, 1889, born in Pennsylvania. Sometime in the next 2 years, Theresa married James and moved to Indiana. In James obituary, it states he came to Ind. from Pittsburg, from the Macbeth-Evans Glass Comapny. This part of my family history is a great interest to me, I suppose because I cannot find all the peices to the puzzle. I was lucky to find the name Todtenbier in a family Bible, otherwise, I would not have had a clue . Witnessing the marriage of Edward and Theresa were her sister Maria Todtenbier and Joseph Martin Dunn. This information was recorded in Marriage Records, Book 4, page 185 of Covington. Theresa's sister's marriage is also recorded there, Book 77, page 63 to John H Eldred.
