Notes for Emily Jane Heavilin: 1900 Census, Jay Co., Penn Twp. married to Cassius Campbell. Zelda and Matte not in the home, but all 7 of 7 children are living. Tha parentage of Zelda is unknown. No one in our family was aware that Zelda was 6 years old when Emily married Cassius.
1910 Census, Grant Co., Center Twp., Emily is living in the home of Marshal D. Shively, MD, a widower, with his 4 children. She is listed as Servant of a private family. Her husband Cassius is living in the home of his daughter, Matte and husband Lewis. Emily died 7 months after the 1910 census waas taken in March. I have no information as to why she and her husband were living apart. It is curious that Emily lists 6 of 6 children living. Perhaps Zelda was not her child after all.
