Jacob Hoover (son of Andreas Huber and Anna Margaret Catherine Pfautz)^{2045, 2045} was born 1754 in Miry Springs, Pipe Creek, MD, and died 1821 in Randolph Co., NC²⁰⁴⁵. He married Elizabeth Stutzman on 1775 in Randolph Co., NC²⁰⁴⁵, daughter of Jacob Stutzman and Barbara Fouts.

Notes for Jacob Hoover:
Jacob and his brother Jonas were the only 2 of Andrew's 13 children who remained in North Carolina .He inherited the family Grist Mill at the fork of the Unwharrie.
He was crippled by an accident at the Mill which he inherited from his father.
Floods destroyed his home, fire destroyed the Mill, but he rebuilt the both of them.
