Olive J.(Beason) Hoover, 82, Anderson, died Feb 10, 2003, at Community Hospital after a sudden illness. She was born Jan 17, 1921, in Anderson and was a lifetime Anderson resident. She was a homemaker She was a member of New Life Church of God in Muncie.She is survived by her four children, Gary L.(wife Janet) Hoover of Anderson, Danny J.(wife Melody) Hoover of Daleville, the Rev Jimmy J.(wife Jeniffer) Hoover of Anderson and Peggy C.(husband, Edward) Kirby of Fayetteville, NC;grandchildren, Evan Hoover of San Antonio, Texas, Michelle Cain of Anderson, Teresa Adams, Tammy Ryan and Tina Bilbrey, all of Cookeville, Tenn., Tony Adams of Germany, Bradley Hoover of Muncie, Jon Hoover of Anderson, Dr. Lance Hoover of San Antonio, Texas, Scott Hoover of Muncie, Sarah Priddy of St. Louis, Mo., Justin Hoover of Daleville, Melissa Jones and William Cripe, both of Fayetteville, NC., and Charity Hoover of Anderson; and three sisters, Mary(husband, Gene) Flook, and Alice Toops, all of Anderson and Martha Wells of Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, whom she married March 10, 1939, Wilbur E. Hoover; her parents, Edward and Edith Beason; two children, Marilyn Hoover Bustos and Ronald Earl Hoover; and several sisters and brothers. Services will be at 2:30pm Thursday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home, South Chapel, with the Rev Ed Wilkinson officiating. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery.
