I started working on a family tree less than a week ago, after years of wondering about my paternal and maternal grandparents and their families.
In that time it has been truly amazing. The amount of information on both families is tremendous. So please be patient as I try to navigate and list all the family connections now available.
On my paternal side, starting with my Grandfather. Samuel J. Hoover, and continuing to a Jonathon Hoover in the late 1700's in York County,Pennsylvania..
Maiden names on the Hoover side include some but by all means not all of the following. * Replogle, Brumbaugh,Taylor,Puterbaugh,and Davis.
On the maternal side, starting with my Grandfather * Asberry John Othello Washman. and continuing to Isaac Washman born 1742 in Louden County, Virginia.
Some of the associated names are * Washmon,Price, Stanford, Russell,Tolbert,McKaugh,Sandifer,MacNarie,and Taylor.
So as you can see this is going to be quite the job.
Any help and communication would be appreciated. It will be a pleasure as I meet all the new family, and am introduced to our ancestors.
