I've been researching my Hopkins lines for about sixteen years and working on learning about the Arnold lines for about thirteen years. Now I am going back to early research and reviewing my early work with my now more experienced eyes. I'm making sure all the documentary evidence stacks up and cleaning up the source citations. Mostly it's just housekeeping, but I've caught some new pieces of evidence and gotten new insights into the lives of the ancestors closest to us.
Lately I've been using my experience to help others research their family tree. I've opened a business providing genealogy services both locally and over the internet. I tutor beginners, do short consultations to help other researchers working on brick walls, and research whole lines for people who don't have the time or who just would rather spend their time differently. If you need help on a genealogy project, check out my affordable rates at Rootfinders Genealogy Research (see web link below).
To contact me about the family trees shown on this site, go to my website and use the contact page to email me. I am happy to share information and sources.
Happy Hunting!
