Updated July 22, 2001

About Our Family Research

The Small-Smith-Hopkins Connection, is about the early settlers of the United States. Many were Quakers, Like Obediah Small; and pioneers in MO., like William Smith who jorneyed from Franklin VA. to Callaway Co. MO. and was related to Nathan Boone by marriage, to Miron Hopkins who settled in early MO. after a successful service with the 2nd Cav. from Bath IL. in the Civil War. The history of pioneer folk moving out west, is what these people lived. The good, the bad, the laughter, and the pain, can be found in their daily lives.
