Looking for ancestors of Narcissus Hays and her father John Hays. She married into Douglass family and moved to Oklahoma from Texas. Her family did not approve of marriage and she had to have someone declare her of age. Would like to know relationship of person vouching for her and also any ancestral cultural or ethnicity information on family. I think there may be Elizabeth Buck or Birk in the ancestry, but not sure of the actual lineage past her.
