My family would apear to be a nomadic tribe. I was born in Buckinghamshire - England, whilst my two sons were born in Cheshire. My wife, born in Kent as was her mother, her father is unknown as yet apart from his name. Her Grandmother was Dutch.
My father originated in Yorkshire and my mother from Cardiff in Wales.
I am somewhat new to genealogy and not very successful, at the moment I feel that my ancestry could be in Ireland,but that is yet to be confirmed.
My biggest problem at the moment is to find my wifes fathers parents. It has not been easy finding her father Ian Malcolm Dugald-Gordon, who is now deceased. There appear to no records that pertain to his birth in England Scotland or Wales. We know most of his history from when he enlisted into the Army but prior to thi is a mystery.
