I am 16 years old and for an English autobiography, we(the class) are asked to do some family research. I figured I should start to do some geneology now while I'm young than wait when I'm older and most of my family is gone. On my mother's side there is the Hook family and the Masterson family. Both are from MI. On my Father's side there is the Goutch family and the Hopewell family. Both I believe are from Penn. My moms, mom is Susan Hook. She married James Masterson when she was 16 years old. He was 17 years old. When she was 17, she had my Uncle Jim. Then in 1967, she had my mother Judy. In either 1970-71, My grandfather was remarried and was in a car accident with his new wife, his brother and his sister. All died except the sister when the car colided with a big rig semi truck in IN. My mother was then 4 years old. My fathers mom died about 2 years ago from cancer. Her name was Lois Goutch. She married and her surname was Hopewell, Then she married again and her surname then was Ryan. She had 9 children: Donnie Hopewell (died in Vietnam war), Ron, Greg, Dolly, Anna, Mary, Mike, Sherie, and Frank. Non of them are really in order. My mothers side is haveing a reunion in June of 2001 in Flint, MI. Thats all I really know right now.
