Jan Strzelecki was born 15 December 1796 in Stempuchowo, Wagorowicz Prussia / Poland and died 23 March 1870 in Stempuchowo, Wagrowiczo, Prussia / Poland. He married Catherina Cholewinski on 3 November 1823 in Kozielsko, Wagrowiczo, Prussia / Poland, being the daughter of Joannes Cholewinski and Marianna Garstecka. She was born 2 March 1797 and died 10 May 1868 in Stempuchowo, Wagorowicz Prussia / Poland.
They had five known children Barbara being born 18 January 1825 and dying unknown, Michael born October 1826, Marianna 16 March 1831, Jacob born 7 July 1839 and died 4 November 1931 Posen, Presque Isle Co., MI and Josepha 1840 and dying 13 May 1853.
