I am looking for information regarding relatives of Derek Trubshaw Hope. Derek was a merchant seaman who retired due to ill health. He was married to Joan Lowthian and had 2 sons Mark (march 1961) & Christopher (Nov 1964)(my hubby). They lived in Lower Hay Lane. Derek built a boat but died (when chris was 7 or 8, early 70's) before he could sail it.

He had 2 sisters Margaret was married to Tony (in the Navy) and Betty had 2 daughters.
Dereks parents lived in 'glossop' but there maybe a connection to liverpool.
Chris and Mark would like to trace their lost relatives. Can anyone help?
