I have been doing geneology for about five years now. I still get excited everytime I find a new family member. The neatest thing to come out of my research is when I found out that the dairy farm in Howard Co, that my grandfather was born and raised on was purchased by his father from none other than my husbands great grandfather. Now that's a coincidence isn't it?
I am curently researching the following families. Hopkins,Coleman,Wiener and Allers on my husbands side. My family includes the Peddicords,Cavey,Rest,Frey.
Extended family names are Hobbs,Dorsey,Randall,Hincks,Carr,O'Hara,Warfield,Lemmon,Laumann,Bidinger.
This has been a very rewarding hobby for me and hopefully one day my family will be greatful for all of my research and time that has went into it. I'm hopeing that someone will be interested and take over updating the family tree as my children and grandchildren grow older too.
