HOPPER FAMILY
At the present time, the Hopper ancestry has been traced back to "Elijah Hopper", who was born in 1838 in Indiana. At this point in time, in the state of Indiana, there were two boys named Elijah. There was an Elijah, that was the grandson of Mosses Hopper, but he was born in 1842. There was an Elijah Hopper that was the son of Samuel Hopper. No information can be found on this Elijah, so by indirect reasoning, we have temporarly connected our Elijah Hopper with Samuel Hopper. This point is an ongoing research project until positive proof can be found.
Most of the family research has been:
1) Family Records and speaking to relatives
2) Some research on the Internet.
Family reunions:
1) Were many in the days of long-long ago, but
2) As some died and some moved away, and some getting older, the reunions are smaller and fewer (sad to say).
