I am researching the family history of the Hopkinson family who lived in the area of Ashover, Wirksworth, Hasland and south Chesterfield in Derbyshire, England. I have got back to the late Eighteenth century.

I am particularly interested in John Hopkinson who was married to Ellen and had two sons, George and Joseph and a daughter Rebbecca. all three were baptised in Walton, in 1808, 1814 and 1818
