| I am picking up the research from many years ago put together by much of the family. I am looking for the descendants of John Magnus and Mathilda Danielson of Smolan, Kansas. One of his son's (Carl Oscar Danielson) was my grandfather and his oldest son was Carl Elmer Danielson. His childen's names and ages in 1875 were: Anna--16, Martin--12, Daniel P.--8, John--6, Charles(Carl Oscar)--4, Cristine--2,Albert--about 4 months. I believe that the oldest three were born in DeKalb county, Illinois. I am willing to share all that I have on John Danielson. I have just found out that my cousin Ginny is also working on this tree also. Ginny--a gentleman in Sweden gave me some information on Carolina Nilsdotter. She married Jonas Petersson, had 2 children--Carl Emil and Sofia Emma. They came to America in 1868. Eventually I hope to trace them after their arrival here. Your mother nor Aunt Neva never gave me the name of her greatgranddaughter who did the work on the tree in Sweden. |
