My interest began as a child. Several years ago I began keeping track of the stories and remarks my family told about themselves and one another. After my husband Frank Walker and MS retired me early, I decided I would file and write all that I could find about my family. I think they are clever, interesting, humorus, and sometimes wild and weird. I hope my grandchildren will find incouragement and intertainment in the antics and adventures of our ancestors. I have not found any royalty, pirates or horse theives. I have found many honest,devout Christians. They are primarily hardworking,patriotic, honest and loving citizens. We are social and love parties and good food. There are many really good cooks, so pot lucks and picnics are a favorite. The men also really shine at bar-b-cues, fish fries and cookouts. We have become so scattered we now find get togethers more challenging but no less fun. I hope the next generation will enjoy knowing their family too. Some of my best friends were also cousins. I have always felt very lucky to be part of my family. Thank You, Donna,Martha,Betty,Gerald,Bud,Dolores,Diana,Patsy,Audry,Larry and Bussie. I also owe my gratitude to those who have already passed.
