I have only just begun my search and have little information. I am hoping that this webpage will help with my search. My ancestors are predominately English and Irish, with a little Huguenot thrown in.

My Grandfather, Peter Marchomnt is a mystery - he was born in Ireland and grew up in England until some incident occured to get him thrown out of England. He took a ship out of England to India before finally arriving in Australia. He was known here in Australia as Marchmont but on his death bed declared that his name was actually Blyth-Marchmont. I have found nothing to support this yet. It is believed that the Blyth came in in the 19th century.

My Grandfather on my Farther's side died before I could gleen any information from him, so I will have to start from scratch.

If there is anyone who has any thoughts or information that would help me in my search, I would love to hear from you.
