I am searching for information for my mother's parents: Nelson Smith, and Ethel Hodges. Nelson was born about 1899 and Ethel b about 1897.

My mother's name is Barbara Jo Smith, b. 06/19/1923 in Wilbarger Cty TX. Her siblings are: J. D. Jordan (His name was changed from J. D. Smith when he was placed in an orphanage); and a second brother named Wayne. All children were placed in an orphanage at an undetermined time after being passed from relative to relative.
